Mark Timms, CEOMark Timms
CEO

After graduating with a BS in Finance, Mark Timms spent several years in the banking world before he co-founded Custom Golf of Connecticut in 1990, his first venture in the golf industry. There he established a reputation for his club fitting and design capabilities both with customers and the major club manufacturers.

In 2000, he moved to Scottsdale, AZ and founded Hot Stix Golf. The business and its reputation thrived under his direction and he subsequently founded Hot Stix Technologies in 2004 and Hot Stix Mobile in 2005.

In 2005, he sold controlling interest to a new group of investors. By April 2006, he had withdrawn from the day-to-day operations of Hot Stix, leaving the management under new direction.

He founded Cool Clubs in 2007, with a new group of investors. Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Cool Clubs uses the latest state-of-the-art technology and offers the ultimate in club fitting and club building. Located in a high tech environment, Mark continues to build on his reputation with both players and the major international club and shaft manufactures.

For almost two decades Mark has been devoted to helping people “play better Golf”. He has fit hundreds of golf Professionals and thousands of Amateurs.


Scott J. Foster, VP OperationsScott J. Foster
VP Operations

Scott J. Foster is the Vice President of Operations for Cool Clubs, and as such he is responsible for overseeing all the day to day operations of the business. His duties include strategic marketing, network administration, the hiring and training of personnel, the designing and building of the store, shop and hitting bays, and the ordering of equipment and supplies to expand the business.

Scott is originally from Ft. Collins, Colorado. In 2000 he moved to Scottsdale, AZ to pursue a career in the world of golf. In Scottsdale he worked at Desert Mountain, Whisper Rock Golf Club, Troon Country Club, and The Kierland Resort before being hired as a club builder for Hot Stix Golf in 2002.

During the next 5 years, Scott worked as a club builder, and then a project manager of the Hot Stix expansion. He was instrumental in designing and outfitting the first Mobile Fitting Trailer, and he accompanied it as it traveled throughout the western and midwestern states taking the latest in technology and club fitting to Country Clubs and private golf courses in 8 different states. Eventually Scott became Supervisor of Mobile Logistics, and was responsible for the design of four additional trailers, and the implementation of the Mobile Fitting Centers Program.

In 2007, Scott began working for Cool Clubs Golf.

Inventory Manager

Scott Yancy has worked in the Golf Retail business since 1985.
His Experience includes the following; Warehousing & Distribution, Inventory Management, Sales Management, Store Manager, Customer Service Excellence, Buying and Merchandising.

He has worked for such companies as American Golf Discount Centre's UK, Nevada Bob's Corporate Stores, Family Golf Centers, and Hot Stix Golf.
Scott brings 22 years of invaluable experience to Cool Clubs.


Jerry Hoefling Jr., Master Club BuilderJerry Hoefling Jr.
Master Club Builder

Jerry is responsible for the day to day operations inside the build shop. He ensures that each and every club that is built matches a golfer's recommended specs perfectly. Jerry's attention to detail and unparalleled club building expertise are great assets to the Cool Clubs Team.

A well experienced clubmaker for over the past twelve years.  Jerry served as the former Director of Technical Services for the Professional CLUBMAKERS' Society, a non-profit organization based out of Louisville, Kentucky.  Before his stint as Technical Director Jerry was a Senior Builder of golf clubs for Hot Stix Golf in Scottsdale, AZ.  Jerry was also the former Director of Operations for Club Doctor's Golf in Saginaw, MI. 

Jerry has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Saginaw Valley State University.  He also is a former All-American Junior College Golfer.


Jamey Harrington, Head of Custom DesignJamey Harrington
Head of Custom Design

The Head of Custom Design at Cool Clubs focusing on wedges and putters. Jamey was formerly the Custom Department Manager at Hot Stix Golf in Scottsdale, AZ. He has worked with PGA Tour Professionals and has contributed to multiple PGA Tour wins.

Jamey is also a Class "A" PGA Professional through the PGA of America. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness and Professional Golf Management at Arizona State University.
